Super Reese to the rescue!!

Reese's cousin, Menias, turned three this past week and had all his friends over for a superhero party on Saturday.  Jesh and I loved putting together Reese's costume! The best part was her gold cape, provided by her AWESOME Auntie Abby who made it and shipped it to us just for the party!

Her costume was a gold cape with purple star, black leotard and tights, gold shoes (spray painted by Daddy),  a belt (made from an old belt of mine rigged with velcro and and a star crest), gold glasses, wand and gold star flair for her hair :o)

There were a few other superheroes at the party, too...

Easter

Easter weekend we had Brandon, Jasmine and the boys staying with us.  Sunday morning Reese opened her Easter dress - a gift from her Papa and Nana Cia.  

 Reese loves having Braylon and Isaiah here to play with :o)

After an awesome Easter service - Jesh led a special Easter choir, our pastor "recounted" his days with Jesus (acting as Peter), and we celebrated the Resurrection! - we headed back to our house to grill up some ribs and have the Garcias over for food and fun.  We took the opportunity to take some family pictures since we were already dressed up :o)

 And of course, we had a "little" egg hunt for the kids because what is a family get-together without insane amounts of candy?!

Let's just say it was early to bed that night :o) 

Hope you had a meaningful Easter celebrating the greatest Gift of all - Jesus overcoming the grave and making a way for us to live in relationship with the Father. He is Risen!!
